OUR DAY OUT

Today Chris and I wanted to go Canton just to walk and look around. I think Chris wanted to go to use his new GPS system (boys and their toys). Alissa was so silly today showing us crazy thing just to get that face from us. Chris and Alissa are just so silly and crazy when we go out. It makes me laugh well I get frustrated first then I laugh. We didn't get anything for us but we are tired from walking.

While we were gone Kristin went to lunch with her best friend Will. Will is a long time friend and almost like a brother, they fight like brother and sister back when they were younger. A year ago Will enlisted into the military we all cried we really didn't see it coming. Will left in August and graduated from boot camp in November and has been home for Thanksgiving and for Christmas his parents were excited, but when he leaves this time we don't know when he comes back. Kristin and Tyler went to the camp tonight, they are having a 50 year reunion with past camp employees. Kristin was so excite about seeing her friends from summer camp and showing off that ring.

Chris has been off for the last 11 days and he gets stir crazy after a while so the other night we started talking about our family vacation. This will probably be the last first with Kristin alone. Tyler, yes we love you but I'm already missing my little girl. We are going to driving to California so we can stop on the way there and on the way back to see things. We are already getting excited because we are staying right off the beach and going to try to get into a game show and then go Universal Studio.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEW YEAR

www.proverebs31.com

This is a womens devotional website that I use for my daily devotions. If you don't have a time in your day I pray that God lays is on your heart because I know He really wants that time with us. Today was about curfews the things as a teenages we hated the do and don'ts of life. As christians we have the same kind of do's and don'ts in our life, now we decide the struggles or sin that we are going to fight with in our walk with Christ. I say all of this because this has always been a problem with me as a teenage as a young adult and as a christian being told I can't do something. Yes, I want everything and I don't like the word NO. I know I shouldn't be but as our sin natural always pulls at us. My pray for this year is to have a closer walk with Christ. So my friends and family that check my blog please pray for me my struggles in a daily walk as a christian and I also pray for you daily in your walk.

CHRISTMAS DAY

The girls got us up about 5:30 that is late for them and we went in to see their excitement on everything. This time we went ahead and open everything after everything is open, our tradition is dad's omelette's that is tradition that is never going to stop we all love omelette's on Christmas morning. Then we play with all our toys.Later that day Kristin went to Tyler's to have Christmas with his family, they came back that evening for dinner with us and to open more gifts and then we had a nice evening as a family. During the day sometime we take so time to remember the true reason of this season. I hope everyone does thank God for sharing His Son with the world and for us to be thankful for what we have been given.

SATURDAY CHRISTMAS LAST ONE: This is Chris' side of the family and this year it was at our house and we have a great niece that is only 3 year old so it is fun buying toys for her and seeing her eyes light up. This year we got her a guitar that lights up and she like to play one note and stay on it, mom and dad are going to have fun with that toy. After dinner and gifts we always play dominoes with Chris' brother and family. We don't play real well (I DON'T) but we have fun trying to mess with everyone and laugh until it hurts. So with all that Christmas we are very grateful for family and what God has given us . Hope all of ya'll have had a safe and happy holiday season. Belated Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Tuesday evening our computer hard drive bit the dust,Praise God that it is under warranty so it cost just a little bit. So I don't have our computer so I'm a little lost. Picture will be coming soon.

Wednesday evening we went to my side of the family and spenttime on Christmas eve and just enjoyed the time with family. Part of my family is out of state so this year we did part of our visiting on the web cam. It is different, but it is kind of nice to still see everyone and visit. Our tradition is after Christmas at my family is to come home and watch The Scrooge (Please tell me ya'll know what The Scrooge is, musical old movie you have to see) read our Christmas story book it is a book that the girls have been reading since they were little ,but they want give it up do to it is what we have always done, we read the Bible story and then we pray and the girls go to bed. Now Santa gets ready yes we still do Santa for our teenage daughters and they are such little girls when it comes to Christmas. Santa does put everything unwrapped under the tree for Christmas morning, this year we waited to put it out because they like to get up at 1 or 2 in the morning to see their presents. I told you they are still little girls. We love it tell you the truth.
