My girls are 20 and 17 and they don't know they are to old to dressup. Well, I guess they are not, when they were little we didn't Trick or Treat only at church Funfest. So now they want to dressup and just be silly. What is funny about it still at church parties. Alissa spent the night at Kristin's and went to her churches youth party and then met up with us the next morning at church. They had a blast and Alissa won best costume contest. What is so funny, we made it ourselves. Goodwill clothes and makeup and a great wig. She did pretty well. Both of them did.

Our 1st Family Birthday Dinner, not everyone could make it but we had fun just getting together on a regular bases will to good.  Grace is the youngest in the family at a year and half, she is our nieces(Alex) baby girl. Alex oldest daughter Emma that is 5yrs old is just like her mom always giving a show. Grace loves her Great Uncle Chris even as a baby. Kristin has come up with a new card game that some are having problems with. Troy studies his cards way to long but look at his daugter she is doing pretty well with Edgar (Kristin's boyfriend). 

SENIOR YEAR, I can't believe this. Where has the time gone? We moved into this house the Christmas of Alissa's Kindergarten year and now we are planning her Senior Trip to New York and getting the college application mailed.  Our little girl that has always been the one with energy and keeping us on our toes has gone through alot of changes over the years. Yes, she still keeping us on our toes but she has found a place that she can get her creative side out. She loves playing drums, reading books and watching movies but from all that she loves to learn about the movie and why they would do something a certain way. I guess this is why she is playing on going into film studies. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see what God has plan for her life.  

Alissa decided to go to the Prom with Friends and she looked beautiful. She and I went and got her nails done on Friday. On Saturday, she work a Festival that our church does every year and after that we went and got her hair done and we did her makeup. Grandparents came out to see her and then we met up with her friends but before that we had to have some pictures before all the fun started. Our little girl is growing up.

We took a road trip this year again, I guess our family enjoy them. As a kid that is all my parents every did, we would stop when ever we saw something we would like to see. If you know Chris he is schedule person has a list of things he would like us to see and do. This drives the girls and I crazy sometimes but this year it was a relax free fun trip.

We drove to Kansas one day and the next day drove into Keystone,South Dakota. It was the most beautiful drive just a strong green fields and just the most bluest creeks and rivers ever. When we got into town, we went to the Mount Rushmore,Crazy Horse Memorial, we even did a bobslide down the side of a mountain on a man made slide.

On our way back we went to the Badlands and I was not to excited about it but when we got there it was beautiful. We had so much fun just taking our time through the Badlands that day and then started our trip back home.

This trip is so worth the drive everyone needs to see this amazing part of the country.
